Since I'm back at school now (and have been for a few weeks...) I don't have much time to go out with my camera. I've also hit another brick wall: I've photographed pretty much everything of interest near where I live. Hopefully, next weekend I will be able to take a drive to the forest by the next town across. It's not in walking distance, and everything in my town is either photographed or pretty similar to what I've already taken. And besides, there's nothing particularly spectacular unless, like I said, you're prepared to drive. And I'm not old enough to drive...
Anyway, that aside, I'd really like to get into some other forms of art. I

Since it's dumb to have an entry dated November which says Happy New Year in it I decided TO MAKE A NEW POST.
Six New Years resolutions:
1 - do all coursework & revision
2 - don't leave socks around the house
3 - keep room tidy
4 - practice drawing
5 - look after cacti
6 - practice guitar more often
Some of them are probably more important than others.
I'm pretty much an amateur photographer, but I'll try my hand at most kinds of art. I like painting, I like drawing, I like writing and making music on mah guitar.
I make a conscious effort to post on nearly everything I fave, especially if I known it'll be appreciated. But anyway: co

Merry Christmas and a happy new year, if you do that kinda thing. :xmas:
I got a very nice surprise this Christmas, a Canon EOS 1000D. I care for it as if it were my own child (except I hate childen).
Anyhow, I am only just starting to get to grips with it, and it's certainly a lot more advanced than my tinny 3mp digital I used to have.
As they say: practice makes perfect, and I will certainly practice.
